Activities:
Advise, aid and assist the Division of Commercial Inspection and Regulation regarding fire
investigations and fire prevention, makes recommendations for fire training and fire education, and
hears complaints.

Composition:
Five members appointed by the Governor. Not all of the same political party. The Governor shall
attempt to appoint individual members to represent the firefighters, fire equipment industry and the fire
insurance underwriters.
