Activities:
Inspection of electrical installations and licensing of persons and associations involved in the
installation of wiring, electrical lights, heating, or power.

Composition:
Seven members appointed by the Governor:
One member shall represent an electric utility
One member shall be a licensed electrical contractor
One member shall be a licensed electrician with at least journeyman level license
One member shall have fire safety expertise
One member shall be involved in the education of electrical engineers or electricians
Two lay members.
Not all from the same political party.
Term of Appointment:
Three years. Not more than three consecutive full terms.
Frequency of Meetings:
Four times per year
