Composition:
Seven members appointed by the Governor:
1. Five dentists in active practice in South Dakota with five years experience;
2. One Lay Person and a resident of SD for at least five years; and,
3. One Dental hygienist in active practice in South Dakota for five years.
No party requirements.
Term of Appointment:
Terms shall expire on October 30 on the third year of appointment. No member may serve more than three consecutive full terms.
Frequency of Meetings:
3 meetings per year
