Appointed 2014. Kathy Zander serves as the Executive Director of the both the South Dakota Agri-Business Association and the South Dakota Grain & Feed Association with an office located in Pierre. She is a graduate of Pierre's T.F. Riggs High School and of South Dakota State University with a B.S. degree in Agronomy. Kathy is active in many agri-business related organizations.

Appointed 2015. Kyle is the vice-president regulatory strategies at Black Hills Corporation. He is a graduate of the University of South Dakota earning B.S. in Business Administration (Management Major) and Masters in Business Administration degrees. Throughout his career, Kyle has actively supported his community, industry and state. In addition to coaching youth sports and serving on various boards, he was a founding member and vice chair of both the South Dakota Energy Infrastructure Authority and the Wyoming Infrastructure Authority. Kyle and his wife, Suzanne, a Rapid City realtor, have four adult children.

Appointed 2003. Ralph and his wife, Lucille, are both lifetime South Dakotans. Ralph graduated from USD. He began teaching and soon became a school principal. Ralph and Lucille started a trucking business in 1977 with just two trucks and one employee. In 1991, Marquardt Trucking was one of six companies chosen to send equipment to Saudi Arabia, as part of the first Gulf War. Thirty-eight trucks and trailers were sent overseas to transport Abram tanks. Today their son, Doug, now owns and operates the Yankton trucking company with more than 70 trucks on the road. Ralph and Lucille own a group of four grain elevators in the Yankton area along with two gravel pits. Additionally, they farm, run a cow/calf operation, and own Barnes Hay, an alfalfa pelleting mill in Gayville, SD.

Appointed 2014. Ron and his wife, Bev, have lived in Sturgis for more than 30 years. He has his undergraduate teaching degree from Black Hills State and a Masters Degree from South Dakota State University. He is retired from his position of Executive Director of Black Hills Special Services Cooperative and now serves as the Executive Director of West River Foundation. He and Bev have two grown children. Ron is active in the Sturgis community and currently serves on the finance committee at Life Springs Wesleyan Church, the Sturgis Economic Development Corporation Board and the local transportation board.

Appointed 2011. Don is a Watertown native and a 1980 graduate of Watertown High School. He attended the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, graduating in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and is currently a partner in R&R Investments, LLC. He and his wife Kelly have three children. Don is active in the community and serves on the board of various foundations and organizations.

Appointed 1997. Rodney was born in Mitchell, SD. He graduated from Letcher High School, Letcher, SD in 1956. He went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science Degree from South Dakota State University in 1960. Rodney is a banker, Chairman and CEO of Dacotah Banks, Inc., Aberdeen, SD. He and his wife, Glenna, have two grown sons, Robert and Daniel.
